Is Yours a Family of WATCHERS...

A few years ago a seven year old boy was ask by a teacher what his father did for a living. With very little thought, the boy said, "My father is a watcher." The teacher scratched her head and asked him to explain. The boy then said, " well, he watches TV every night and football on the weekends, then he watches mom cook dinner and do the dishes, then he watches us do homework and when mom goes to the store, he watches her put away the groceries."

In a typical counseling session with a majority of pastors interviewed, the main complaint seems to be that-- families just don't do enough together. In most cases, when there are two parents in the family, both work. and at the end of the work day, are simply too tired to "Get Involved" with their children.

Is it really a wonder that teenagers and pre-teens seek a life outside the home? If they don’t find love in you, they might find the counterfeit in a drug dealer!!!
